The Virginia Department of Health COVID-19 dashboard reports the first COVID-19 death in Waynesboro.

July has been the worst month for new COVID-19 cases in the valley, passing June’s numbers just 18 days into this month.

At least one new outbreak in a congregate setting has occurred in the Central Shenandoah Health District in the last week.
