(Tampa Bay) — Former Nebraska All-American and Tampa Bay linebacker Lavonte David has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month.

David had 24 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, one forced fumble, one forced fumble recovery and two passes defended in the month.
