Former NFL player Derek Wolfe had a busy week.

On Thursday, Wolfe posted on Instagram that he had killed a mountain lion in Colorado earlier this week after it was “wreaking havoc in a rural neighborhood.”

According to his put up, the enormous male mountain lion had already killed two of a lady’s canine and was residing beneath the porch. Wolfe stated he hiked up 2,500 toes and down the opposite aspect of a mountain, then again up once more, again down and eventually, again up one other 9,600 toes.

Eventually, Wolfe stated he was “exhausted, dehydrated, cramping” and killed the mountain lion with a bow and arrow. He then needed to crawl backwards with the lion down the mountain to get him within the truck, falling 10 toes off of a rock face on the best way down.

Wolfe played for University of Cincinnati from 2008 to 2011 earlier than the Denver Broncos drafted him within the second spherical of the 2012 NFL draft. He then signed a one 12 months cope with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020, and introduced his retirement from skilled soccer in July 2022. Wolfe, who gained Super Bowl 50 with Denver, signed a one-day contract with the Broncos, so he may retire as a member of the staff.
