Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is just some steps away from making Rs 500 crore on the home field workplace. Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is having a mega run on the field workplace since its launch. The film, which enters the fourth week, is anticipated to succeed in the coveted 500 crore membership this weekend. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh predicts the film “awaits the jump”. After three weeks, the film earned over Rs 487 crore. Taran Adrash talked about in his report, “Gadar 2 is an unstoppable force.” The film earned greater than Rs 5 crores on Friday.

Film critic Saibal Chatterjee, in his assessment for NDTV, gave the movie 2 stars out of 5 and he wrote, “Gadar 2 is strictly for three categories of people: Sunny Deol fans, those that miss the unbridled excesses of Bollywood of yore, and those that believe that “hate thy neighbour” is an axiom worth cheering for in a movie theatre. The film has enough to please them all – and then some.”

Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001 hit Gadar. In the sequel Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma have reprised their roles of Tara Singh, Sakeena and Jeete, respectively. The movie launched in theatres on August 11. It clashed with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2 on the field workplace.
