India’s opposition chief Rahul Gandhi has arrived within the violence-hit north-eastern state of Manipur for a two-day go to.

On Thursday and Friday, Mr Gandhi will go to reduction camps for folks displaced by the violence and meet leaders of civil society teams.

For the previous two months, Manipur has been convulsed by clashes between the bulk Meitei and Kuki communities.
