Gangster Mukim Kala was among the many three killed in a shootout at a jail in Uttar Pradesh’s Chitrakoot on Friday morning. Gangster-turned-MLA Mukhtar Ansari’s aide Merajuddin, too, was killed within the conflict within the jail.

The incident befell after the inmates clashed and one among them — Anshu Dikshit — shot useless the opposite two prisoners — Merajuddin and Mukim Kala. Anshu Dikshit was later killed in an alternate of fireside with jail officers.

According to the PTI, an argument had damaged out between the jail inmates and when a jail employees tried to intervene, the inmate, who shot useless the opposite prisoners, snatched his service revolver. He additionally took 5 inmates’ prisoner and threatened to kill them.

The district Justice of the Peace and Chitrakoot SP have been knowledgeable concerning the shootout on the jail. They reached the jail and requested Anshu Dikshit to give up. The police fired at Anshu Dikshit when he refused to give up and threatened to kill the 5 inmates.
