Golden Globe Awards: Still from RRR
The eightieth Golden Globes kickstared Hollywood’s award season with a ceremony in Los Angeles hosted by comic Jerrod Carmichael. RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli received Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu and can be competing for Best Non-English Language Film. RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan as real-life freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitaramaraju, is the primary Indian movie to win a Golden Globe, amongst Hollywood’s most prestigious. Director Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan with vast Upasana Kamineni are attending the Golden Globes. Apart from RRR, different notable nominees because the movies The Banshees Of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once which have 6 and 5 nominations every. Abbott Elementary leads the slate of TV nods with 5 nominations whereas The Crown, The White Lotus, Only Murders In The Building, Pam & Tommy and Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story have 4 nominations every.
