CALCUTTA — The Beaver Local golf team was tested by the Beaver Meadows back nine for the first time this season Tuesday.

The Beavers defeated Toronto, 168-207, to improve to 16-0.

Leaders for the Beavers were Luke Eyster with a 40, Logan Ours 41, Sky Pappas 43 and Aiden Pilarcik 44.

For Toronto, Hunter keenan and Brennan Sufoletta had 46s, Ty Suffoletta 57 and Noah Karaffa 58.

Beaver Local will play Oak Glen, Weirton and Brooke at 4 p.m. Thursday at Woodview.

Crestview 189 LaBrae 191

CALCUTTA — Crestview edged LaBrae, 189-191, Tuesday at Beaver Creek Meadows.

Emily Hill topped the Rebels with a 42, followed by A.J. Robb 43, Jon Beveridge 49 and Braden Urmson 55.

For LaBrae, Sam Bailey had a 41, Lucas Lancaster 49, Aiden Kiser 50 and Aiden Doll 51.

The Rebels will host Newon Falls on Monday.

Columbiana 161, Wellsville 207

GLENMOORE — Columbiana golf defeated Wellsville 161-207. The Clippers move to 13-1 overall and 12-0 in league.

For Columbiana, Tyler Anderson and Anthony Hall led the way with a 37, Ian Less with a 42 and Mark Gromes with a 45.

For Wellsville, Luke Green had a 38, Casey Lemasters had a 48, Rocco DeSaarro had a 55 and Markco DeSarro had a 66.

For Leetonia, Ben Shasteen had a 48, Jonathon Simpson had a 51 and Tucker Stark had a 60. They did not have enough golfers for a team score.

West Branch 212, Canton South 239

CANTON — The West Branch girls golf team defeated Canton South, 212-239, at Spring Valley on Tuesday.

The Warriors, who improve to 6-1, were led by Lachlan Cameron with a 48, Shaylee Muckleroy 50, Sidney Milliken 56 and Anna Lippiatt, Gabby Leek and Essence Hall all with 58s.

Delaney Kruger topped Canton South with a 54.

East Palestine 187, United 192

EAST PALESTINE–East Palestine defeated United 187-192 on Tuesday at East Palestine Country Club. For East Palestine, Ricky Bell had a 45, Max Carvelli 45

Kandy Stacey 47, Taylor Bycroft 50

For United, Mati Zines had a 47.

West Branch 179, Salem 214

Canton South 176, West Branch 179

SALEM –West Branch golf defeated Salem, 179-214, at Flying B on Tuesday.

For West Branch, Aiden Wiesemann had a 37, JD Brain 44, Garrett Harvey 47 and Landon Wilson 51.

For Salem, Lane Rhodes had a 45, Nick Colbert 58, Cyle Burt 58 and Anthony Colion58.

Also, Canton South defeated West Branch, 176-179, Tuesday.

West Branch is 5-2 on the season, while Salem drops to 1-9 overall and 0-9 in the Eastern Buckeye Conference.
