Gov. Bill Lee will issue Executive Order No. 55 to allow for contact sports to resume, provided they follow the requirements of TSSAA.

The order is part of the “Safe Reopening Plan for Tennessee Schools,” which was announced Tuesday afternoon.

Football and girls soccer have not been able to have practices with contact under an executive order by Lee that was extended to Aug. 29.
