Richard Haselhoff of Bloomfield was the winner of the Bloomfield Democrat’s first 2020 football contest. Haselhoff was the only contestant to correctly pick seven of the 10 game winners.
Jack Moore of Bloomfield is this week’s winner of the additional 10 points in the overall contest. Moore’s guess of 402 total points was the closest to the tiebreaking score of 446.
There was one contestant who was disqualified this week because his entry blank was incomplete.
All entries must include the winning team, the business sponsor and the total points tiebreaking score.
Contestants should also remember that contest entries must be postmarked by Thursday of each week if they are mailed. They can be hand delivered to the office by 5 p.m. Friday or emailed to Michael@bdemo.com by 5 p.m. Friday as well. Emailed entries may only contain individual entries from one household.
All emailed entries must include the words “Football contest” in the subject line. Emailed entries must include the name and address of the individual submitting the entry and entrants must be at least 12 years of age to participate in the contest.
