MADURAI: State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ma Subramanian inaugurated a 500-bed facility at Ramanathapuram Government Medical College Hospital within the presence of State Minister for Backward Classes Welfare RS Rajakannappan on Saturday.
The facility was established within the hospital at a value of Rs154.84 crore. After inaugurating, the Health Minister mentioned since January 2022, 11 medical schools have been inaugurated throughout Tamil Nadu.
Over a interval of two and half years below the Chief Minister Stalin-led regime, funds have been offered to create the required infrastructure in Government medical schools.
Additional beds have been facilitated in such schools in eight districts together with Ramanathapuram.
Moreover, the Government headquarters hospital is being constructed at Paramakudi at a value of Rs 57 crore.
In Ramanathapuram district alone, as many as 29 sub-health centres at Rs 7.39 crore, 16 main well being centres at Rs 5.43 crore, and extra medical care amenities at Rs 5.26 crore at Paramakudi GH have been established for the good thing about the needy.
Citing these, Subramanian mentioned CM Stalin is focusing consideration on creating extra healthcare amenities and allocating sufficient funds for the developments.
Listing out numerous schemes together with ‘Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam’ and ‘Innuyir Kappom Thittam’ launched by CM Stalin, Rajakannappan mentioned Tamil Nadu is on the forefront of the healthcare supply system.
