Tamil Nadu Government’s well being initiative, Nadappom Nalam Peruvom, was inaugurated within the central districts on Saturday to encourage the general public to stroll for 8 km or 10,000 steps on daily basis for higher well being.

Collector M. Pradeep Kumar, together with Tiruchi Mayor M. Anbazhagan and senior officers inaugurated an 8-km “Health Walk” from the Science Park in Anna Nagar passing by District Court roundabout, Namma Tiruchi Park, Kamala Niketan Montessori School and Kulumaye Amman temple.

In Mayiladuthurai, Collector A.P. Mahabharathi inaugurated the “Health Walk” from the District Collectorate and the members handed by Chinnakadai Street and Tharangambadi Street.
