HOWARDS GROVE TRIANGULAR

HOWARDS GROVE – Oconto finished with a 1-1 record.

The Blue Devils defeated NEW Lutheran 25-23, 22-25, 25-27, 25-23, 15-9, and Howards Grove beat Oconto 25-15, 25-11, 25-17.

Cora Behnke had 21 kills, 14 digs and four aces, Kate Bahrke had 42 assists, 20 digs and six aces, and Hannah Moe had 14 kills for Oconto. Lianna Baxter added 13 kills and five aces for the Blue Devils.

NEW Lutheran finished with an 0-2 record, also losing to Howards Grove 25-12, 25-18, 25-18.

Jaclyn Wise had eight aces, 16 kills and 21 digs, Greta Wise had 21 kills and 14 digs, and Josie Nelson had 39 assists and 13 digs for NEW Lutheran.

LUXEMBURG-CASCO 3, DENMARK 0

DENMARK – Emma Johnson had 32 assists, eight digs and two service aces as the Spartans swept the Vikings 25-9, 25-15, 25-13.

Hannah Derenne added 15 kills and four blocks, Autumn Flynn had nine kills and four blocks, and Jillian Lynts had 13 digs for the Spartans (2-0).

“We served very aggressively and were able to get them out of system and run our offense effectively,” L-C coach Jeff Frey said. “It was a great first week.”

FOX VALLEY LUTHERAN 3, WRIGHTSTOWN 0

WRIGHTSTOWN – The Foxes swept the Tigers 25-12, 25-13, 25-12.

Kenzie Benter had nine kills and five service aces, while Cassie Patchett and Sam Kempinger each had eight kills for FVL.

Holly Malkowski had 19 assists and six service aces, and Kennedy Schmitz added 15 digs for the Foxes.

LUXEMBURG-CASCO 3, WAUPACA 1 (FRIDAY)

WAUPACA – Griffin Saldana scored two goals in the second half to help the Spartans pull away from the Comets.

Hayden Koss and Cody Arendt assisted on Saldana’s goals.

Arendt scored in the first half for Luxemburg-Casco off an assist by Nathan Johnson.

Bryce Boldt scored for Waupaca from an assist by Ryan Drivas.

Garrett Zuleger made eight saves in goal for the Spartans, while Zachary Mondello had six saves for the Comets.
