Peri-Peri Chicken Recipe:
Here’s a peri-peri chicken recipe that is a popular dish across restaurants, which you can easily make at home too!
In the recipe, chicken is marinated in homemade peri-peri sauce for about four hours before being grilled in an oven. The peri-peri sauce is made fresh with chopped, roasted and cooled red chillies, garlic, salt, oregano, paprika, olive oil and vinegar. These are simmered together on a sauce pan, cooled and blended into a fine paste. One can use red chilli powder too instead of paprika. A fuss-free, easy chicken recipe that is fiery and might not suit the taste buds of the faint-hearted!
You can use store-bought peri-peri sauce as well, but they might contain certain preservatives. It is always better to use homemade, fresh sauces. You can even control the amount of ingredients this way too.
