In a brand new interview, Hrithik reacted to criticism across the dialogues of Fighter, disassociating himself from the dialogues and calling them director Siddharth Anand’s “conviction”. Hrithik added, “I admire that Sid (Siddharth Anand) is a very very headstrong filmmaker. It’s his conviction and when you see someone as convinced, it kind of breaks your heart to say no, which I don’t do. But I also bear the weight of that because it’s finally my face.”

Fighter, additionally starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, references the Pulwama terror assault and Balakot surgical strike. The movie is likely to be critiqued for its dialogues, Hrithik is delighted to know that the viewers is having fun with it. He concluded, “I am very very happy that it has landed as entertainment.
