The HS sports scene has thrilled and dazzled us, thus far — and it’s only the first week of October.

Whether it be on the gridiron or the soccer pitch, Staten Island Advance photographers Jason Paderon, Derek Alvez, and Annie DeBiase have been there to capture some of the grandest moments of the fall season’s opening month.
