The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has launched a wellness survey on Thursday to succeed in out to all stakeholders on the campus within the wake of the rising incidents of pupil suicides on the institute.

According to the IIT administration, the survey is being carried out by an unbiased company that may get in contact with all college students, workers, and school of the institute. The survey will likely be undertaken below the aegis of the National Health Mission (NHM), Tamil Nadu Government.

“More than 30 counsellors are being deployed for the survey. The survey process involves a one-to-one conversation with a well-qualified wellness specialist assigned by the NHM,” mentioned an IIT assertion.
