Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his forty sixth birthday in Maldives final weekend and has shared a trip album on Instagram. The footage he posted are largely impersonal – sea and sky views in addition to snippets of the resort the Bachchans stayed at; impersonal photographs – apart from one. Abhishek captioned one set of images: “Some more beautiful views. Especially the last one.” No prizes for guessing what the final view is – a photograph of spouse Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, beautiful in black and her signature crimson lips. Can’t argue with Abhishek, the final image is certainly probably the most lovely view.

Daughter Aaradhya accompanied her dad and mom, as all the time; one of many footage reveals a circle of flowers across the message “Welcome home Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya.”

Abhishek captioned a set of landscapes: “Celebrating another trip around the sun! The weekend was perfect. I would like to thank St Regis Maldives for making it so memorable for me. We had a wonderful time. Beautiful views, beautiful people. My gratitude.”
