As India celebrates its 74th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be paying his tributes at the Rajghat shortly after which he will address the nation from Delhi’s Red Fort. This address will be the most relevant and reliable as it comes amidst the Indo-China standoff and COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the address will not be the same as the previous year as the guest list has come down to only 250, children will also be prohibited from entering the fort. Proper sanitation and thermal checkups are held at the entrance and social distancing will be maintained inside the Red Fort. These changes came in as a precautionary measure for Coronavirus.
