India has gifted 101 autos to Nepal consisting of 35 ambulances and 66 college buses. The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu handed over 35 ambulances and 66 college buses to varied establishments in Nepal to strengthen the well being and training sector within the nation. The keys of the autos have been offered by Naveen Srivastava, India’s Ambassador to Nepal, within the presence of Barsha Man Pun, Nepal’s Finance Minister, as said in a latest report by a information company.
“Out of the total 101 vehicles gifted today, 2 ambulances were handed over on location in the earthquake-affected Jajarkot and West Rukum districts by the representative of the Embassy of India in the presence of district officials and local residents,” the report cited a press launch from the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.
The report highlights that out of those 101 autos, two ambulances have been particularly given to the earthquake-affected districts of Jajarkot and West Rukum. The occasion was attended by Mayors, Chairpersons of Municipalities and Rural Municipalities, representatives of beneficiary organizations, political figures, authorities officers, and social employees.
Further citing the press launch the report quoted, “Ambassador further highlighted that this is a part of the robust and strong development partnership between India and Nepal and has a geographical spread throughout Nepal, touching people’s lives and bringing out tangible progress in the development journey of Nepal”.
In the report Naveen Srivastava emphasised India’s dedication to Nepal’s growth. Minister Barsha Man Pun appreciated India’s help and highlighted the advantages of such applications for the folks of Nepal.
According to the report, the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu said that, “Since 1994, Government of India has gifted 1009 ambulances and 300 school buses across Nepal, including those gifted today. It is part of Government of India’s continued support for the efforts of Nepal to strengthen its health and education facilities and to facilitate easy physical access to these services”.
