Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday accused the Narendra Modi authorities of creating “sinister attempts to kill democracy” by misusing probe businesses in opposition to Opposition leaders, as he slammed the Centre over the ED searches on the premises of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav’s household.

The Enforcement Directorate on Friday carried out searches in a number of cities of Bihar and different places, together with premises of Yadav’s household and different RJD leaders, in reference to a cash laundering investigation into the land for jobs ‘rip-off’ case.
