Oct 25 (Reuters) – India will resume some visa companies in Canada with impact from Oct. 26, its High Commission mentioned on Wednesday, in a transfer that might scale back tensions brought on by the homicide of a Sikh separatist chief in Canada.
India final month suspended new visas for Canadians and requested Canada to scale back its diplomatic presence after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau cited what he mentioned was credible proof of a possible hyperlink between Indian brokers and the homicide of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian citizen, in a Vancouver suburb in June. Canada subsequently withdrew 41 diplomats.
