This onion rava dosa recipe is something that will unite almost all dosa lovers. Rava also known as sooji (or semolina is English) is considered to be a tad healthier than rice batter dosas – they also have a distinct crunch. While one side of this dosa is fried until crispy brown, the other side is slathered over with an eclectic onion masala, made with onions, green chillies, cashews and black pepper.

Serve this dosa with a bowl of piping hot sambhar and coconut chutney and munch away. Make sure you use a spatula to gently fold and remove the dosa from the pan so that it doesn’t break.
