A New York City cab driver- Sukhcharn Singh- drove Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle for about 10 minutes quickly after the couple had been chased by paparazzi. The couple had been clearly nervous through the brief journey, the Indian-origin driver informed BBC.

He picked them up at an area police precinct in Midtown Manhattan and was witness to just some a part of the drama. Not calling his drive a harmful chase by photographers, he stated, “I was on 67th Street and then the security guard hailed me. Next thing you know, Prince Harry and his wife were hopping into my cab.”

“We got blocked by a garbage truck, and all of a sudden paparazzi came and started taking pictures. They looked nervous, I think they were being chased the whole day or something,” he stated, including, “They were pretty nervous, but the security guard, he was on it.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s spokesperson stated in an announcement that the couple endured a “relentless pursuit” that lasted for greater than two hours. The couple had been pursued by photographers after attending the Ms Foundation Women of Vision Awards. Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, was additionally with them.

The paparazzi weren’t being aggressive throughout his drive, he asserted, saying, “They were behind us. I mean, they stayed on top of us, that was pretty much it, it was nothing more. They kept their distance.”
