Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Aiming to supply higher therapy to sufferers affected by eye ailments, the Health Department has appointed ‘Eye Mitra’ at well being and wellness centres within the rural areas and at 4 PHCs of city areas of the district.
According to officers, Eye Mitras will present session for correcting the refractive index and distributing freed from price spectacles. “Along with providing eye check up facility, the Eye Mitras will also refer the patients to the higher facilities if the patient requires further care and treatment.

According to CMHO Dr BS Saitya, the Eye Mitra mannequin has been began for strengthening eye care and therapy in three districts of the state (Indore, Ujjain, Sehore).
