Chennai Super Kings on Thursday named Akash Singh as a substitute for injured left-arm seamer Mukesh Choudhary. Mukesh, who made his IPL debut final season and scalped 16 wickets, is recovering from a stress fracture and is sidelined from the sixteenth version of the IPL. Akash Singh, who was part of India’s Under-19 World Cup crew in 2020, beforehand performed for Rajasthan Royals. The left-arm pacer has to this point performed 9 T20s along with 9 List A matches and 5 first-class video games and has 31 wickets. He will be part of CSK for Rs 20 lakh.
