Coming off the heels of her Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week win on Monday, Isanovic received the first AVCA national player of the week nod for Arizona State since 2015 when Macey Gardner won.
Isanovic, a native of Bosnia and Herzegovina, had a stellar weekend, leading ASU in kills for both wins at No. 18 Utah and Colorado, who received votes in the AVCA Coaches Poll. In the win over the Utes, which was the Sun Devils’ first over them since 2015, she had 24 kills, her fifth time this season earning 20 or more kills in a match. She also tied her career high in blocks with six, as well as earning a new personal best in solo blocks with four. Adding to the impressive feat was that she also earned a double-double with 12 digs, her eighth of the season.
Against the Buffs, she had 18 kills to lead the Sun Devils, as well as eight digs. That win over Colorado completed the road series sweep, ASU’s first since 2019, and its first ever road series sweep against the mountain schools.

Arizona State is back in Tempe this weekend to try to extend its three-match winning streak against California and No. 15 Stanford. The Sun Devils will take on the Bears on Friday at 7 p.m. MST before playing the Cardinal on Sunday at 1 p.m. MST.
