Japan’s area company was hit with a cyberattack this summer season and delicate data on space-related applied sciences may need been accessed, Kyodo information company reported on Wednesday.
The police grew to become conscious of the assault this autumn and notified the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Kyodo reported. The Yomiuri newspaper first reported the incident.
A JAXA spokesperson couldn’t be reached instantly for remark when contacted by Reuters.
The Japanese area company was unaware of the cyberattack till contacted by the police, Kyodo reported.
