John (Jack) M. Grainda, Jr. of Mechanicsburg, handed away on May 21, 2023, after a protracted sickness. He was born in Philipsburg, NJ, on August 13, 1932, to John M. Grainda, Sr. and Mary Grainda, and was a proud graduate of Phillipsburg Catholic High School in 1952.

Along together with his spouse Rose, Jack is survived by his three sons and 9 grandchildren, son John III, his spouse Elizabeth of Carmel, IN, grandsons sons John IV of Carmel, IN, Michael, his spouse Clare of Chicago, IL, Mark, his spouse Lauren of Westfield, IN, and JJ of Carmel, IN , son Joseph, his spouse Elizabeth of Cornelius, NC, granddaughters Elizabeth of Austin, TX, Allison of Mooresville, NC, and Julia Rose of Cornelius, NC, son Jeffrey, his spouse Rose of Ft. Collins, CO, and granddaughters Greta of Seattle, WA and Gina of San Francisco, CA.
Mass of Christian Burial can be celebrated at 12:00 PM Tuesday, May 30 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3435 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, the place there can be a visitation from 10:30 AM till the time of Mass. A non-public burial will happen in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions could also be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
