When Shah Rukh Khan was going through a personal turmoil recently, several of his friends from the industry had expressed support to the actor and his family. However, his close friend and loved co-star Kajol maintained a silence the entire time when Aryan Khan was in jail and even when he was released. On November 2, as SRK celebrated his birthday, Kajol did not wish him either. When a social media user asked Kajol why she didn’t wish Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol replied, “What more can I wish him? All his wishes came true when his son came back home.”

During this Instagram chat with fans, a user also asked Kajol about reuniting with Karan Johar after ‘My Name Is Khan’. The actress cheerfully expressed, “I would love to do a film with Karan again. But I think he and I both have to agree that it is the kind of film that we want to do again together.”

On the work front, Kajol will soon be seen in actor-filmmaker Revathy’s upcoming directorial ‘The Last Hurrah’. The film is a true story and chronicles around an exemplary mother, Sujata, who battled the ‘most challenging situations one can ever face with a smile’. Kajol had shared that she instantly connected with her character the moment she heard the story of ‘The Last Hurrah’. Speaking about the film, the actress had told PTI, “I think it’s a beautiful journey and it deserves to be shared with everyone. And to have Revathy direct me for this story gives me more strength to play Sujata and showcase her strengths.”
