NEW ULM — New Ulm Legion Gold scored 4 runs within the first inning after which added a pair of seven-run innings as Gold closed out their common season with an 18-6 win over Willmar Saturday at Johnson Park.

“My goal on our pitching was to get some of our guys some work, which we did,” Gold head coach Curt Forbrook mentioned. “We wanted to have a lot of fun tonight and get everyone in the game and we accomplished that. A good, fun game before playoffs.”
