Lewis “Lew” Rothman, an leisure govt who held prime jobs at the Weinstein Company and Strategy PR, died abruptly at his house in East Hampton on Dec. 22. He was 63.
Rothman is remembered for his smarts, honesty, humor, colourful language, film star seems to be and an angle and accent that betrayed his Queens roots. Beginning in 2006, Rothman served as chief know-how officer on the Weinstein Company, the indie studio behind “The King’s Speech” and “The Artist.” He labored there for a decade and later moved to Strategy, one of many preeminent awards consultancy corporations, in 2016. In the early Nineteen Nineties, Rothman and his spouse, Serina Mayer, began a brand new media consultancy, Vibemaster, Inc., which labored to develop ties and increase enterprise alternatives between leisure and know-how corporations. Rothman is survived by his spouse of 33 years, Serina; daughter Raella; sisters Barbara Kreiger and Cheryl Ann Krane; prolonged household of nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Rothman’s life will happen at The Jewish Center of the Hamptons on Jan. 5 at 9:30 a.m. Donations could also be made in Rothman’s reminiscence to the next organizations: HIAS or The Art Barge.
