Des Lacs/Burlington 52, Tioga 0
DES LACS — Junior running back Caleb Rist ran for five touchdowns to carry the Des Lacs/Burlington Lakers (2-1, 1-0 Region 3) over Tioga (0-2, 0-1 Region 3) by a lopsided margin of 52-0 on senior night.
The Lakers scored four touchdowns in the first quarter to break the game open early. The only score that wasn’t a Rist run was the first touchdown of the game on a 30-yard pass from Blake Wacha to Chance Mickelson.
In a span of roughly nine game minutes, Rist found the end zone four times from 16, 15, 10 and 39 yards out. His fifth touchdown early in the third quarter was his longest at 39 yards.
Senior running back Justin Carter also scored on a 3-yard run to end the first half.
With members of the junior varsity team getting playing time, the Lakers final touchdown was a 30-yard pass from backup quarterback Paxton Ystaas to Braylon Fisher.
The DLB defense held firm for its second shutout of the season.
Nedrose 42, Garrison/Max 8
GARRISON — The Nedrose Cardinals (1-2, 1-0 Region 3) dominated on the road to earn the program’s first win this season. Nedrose scored 42 straight points before Garrison/Max (0-3, 0-1 Region 3) squeezed in a touchdown before the final whistle.
All five first-half touchdowns for Nedrose came on the ground. Cam Bailey (twice), Ethan Miller, Mick Kalahama and Tyler Armstrong each crossed the goal line. The Cardinals led 36-0 going into halftime.
Miller hit Bailey for a 7-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter.

That had the game scoreless at halftime.
