Hughesville closed out the girls tennis regular season with a 5-0 win over Shikellamy to finish 6-5 on Monday. Gina Budman and Taylor Hauck needed a tiebreaker to win the first set at No. 1 doubles, but followed it up with a 6-1 victory in the second set. Kiley Kilgore and Hannah Wertz combined on a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles.

South Williamsport posted five straight-sets wins to take a 5-0 victory over Muncy. State runner-up Olivia Dorner didn’t surrender a game in a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles. Alayna McGovern won at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-1.

Loyalsock’s Izzy Dadzie and Chloe Kennedy teamed up for a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles to help the Lancers post a 3-2 win over Jersey Shore. Loyalsock also picked up a pair of singles wins from Katie Savidge and Abbie Machmer. Riley Frazier won a three-set thriller at No. 3 singles for Shore, 7-5, 1-6, 10-8.

North Penn-Liberty swept three singles matches as it posted a 4-1 win over Wellsboro. Aubrey Griess, K.T. Nealen and Dania Dawes posted straight-sets wins singles for the Mounties. Emma Eglesia and Marissa Griess teamed for a win at No. 1 doubles.

In the District 6 Class AAA semifinals, Central Mountain fell to Altoona, 4-1. The Wildcats’ win came at No. 3 singles as Kati Kwiatek beat Emily Neil, 6-7, 6-2, 10-4. Carolina Carpenetti lost at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-1, to Isabella Frank.

• Piper Minier had a hat trick as South Williamsport cruised to an 8-1 rout over Montgomery in girls soccer.

Wellsboor blanked Towanda, 7-0. Kerrah Clymer scored four goals and had two assists and Jenna Boyce had three goals and an assist.

• In boys soccer, Jalen Thomas scored for Sullivan County, but Northumberland Christian scored twice to defeat the Griffins, 2-1.

Alex Hazzzoum scored six goals as Warrior Run remained undefeated with a 14-2 win over Hughesville. Alex Kaden Majcher scored a pair of goals for the Defenders. Hughesville’s Nick Trevouledes scored his 50th career goal for the Spartans in the 29th minute. Josh Heiney also scored for the Spartans.

Seth Yoder tallied the game winner in the 15th minute for Milton, and Carter Lilley and Evan Yoder added second-half goals as Milton beat Shamokin, 3-0. Conner Smith and Cadyn Smith added assists for the Black Panthers.

Wellsboro scored six first-half goals in a 10-1 rout over North Penn-Liberty. Kaeden Mann had a hat trick and Will Poirier scored two goals and had five assists.

• Williamsport blanked East Juniata in girls volleyball, 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-15). Caitlin Bacon led Williamsport with 18 points and Johanna Baker had a team-high 10 assists. Emma Dickey had 16 digs.

• Hallie McClure tallied a hat trick for Muncy as the Indians posted a 3-1 win over East Juniata in high school field hockey action. Isabelle Gush picked up a pair of assists, and Marquesa Staib had one.
