ALPENA — The Alpena softball staff picked up a pair of Big North Conference wins on Thursday at dwelling, beating Petoskey 10-5 and 18-7.

ST. HELEN — The Alcona softball staff improved to 19-3 on Thursday with a pair of wins over Charlton Heston, 20-4 and 15-0.

In the opener, Alpena (16-8-1) was restricted to a few hits and West scored a run in each the fourth and fifth innings to win.
Gabe Glawe, Hunter Cohoon, and Brady Niedzwiecki every had a success for Alpena.
