BJP determination to help NPP in Meghalaya hits social gathering exhausting

BJP nationwide spokesperson Sambit Patra on March 23 introduced on X that his social gathering would help NPF within the Outer Manipur Constituency and NDPP in Nagaland.
“As per the instructions of the Hon’ble National President of@BJP4India, Shri @JPNaddaji, I am pleased to inform that BJP will extend its support to Lok Sabha Candidates of NPP in both the seats of Meghalaya (Shillong and Tura), to NPF in the Outer Manipur Constituency and to NDPP in Nagaland in the ensuing Parliamentary elections 2024,” Patra mentioned.
BJP is a minor accomplice within the ruling coalition in Meghalaya which is headed by NPP. Significantly, BJP had put up candidates for each the Shillong and Tura seats in 2014 in addition to in 2019. Though they misplaced in each the elections, the social gathering had cornered 9.2% of the full votes in 2014. In 2019, the vote share dropped to eight%.
