Hugh Grant has opened up about what he calls Love Actually‘s most excruciating scene.
In an interview with Diane Sawyer, the British star mentioned he noticed it within the script and thought he “would hate doing that”.
“I didn’t fancy doing the dance at all, let alone rehearsing it,” he mentioned.

“But I will give myself this credit – It was my idea to have this secretary lady catch me.
“And to today, you recognize, there’s many individuals and I agree with them, who assume it is probably the most excruciating scene ever dedicated to celluloid.”
According to the director Hugh tried every thing to get out of it however he was contractually obligated to finish it.

And Mariah Carey has embraced her diva role.
The star admitted to playing into it in an interview with ‘W Magazine’ saying her mother was an opera singer who went to Julliard, so it’s inevitable.
