To start with the recipe, first, we have to marinate the prawns. In a bowl, add the de-shelled and deveined prawns. Add turmeric powder, purple chilli powder, coconut oil and salt. Mix properly and put aside for 10 minutes. Next, we have to make the spice paste. In a pan, dry roast coconut, fenugreek (methi) seeds and coriander seeds. Make a paste of those dry roasted spices and preserve apart.

Now, warmth 1 tsp of oil in a pan and evenly sear the prawns. In a wok, add coconut oil, shallots (Madras onions), ginger, garlic, purple chillies, mustard seeds and inexperienced chillies. Allow them to splutter. Add turmeric, chilli powder, spice paste, coconut milk, salt and curry leaves. Stir properly. Add diced tomatoes, tamarind extract, jaggery and inexperienced peas.
