Desk chair installs air purification technology

As an extra precaution against COVID-19, desk chair workspace at 201 E. Fourth St. in downtown Loveland, installed Global Plasma Solutions’ plasma generator technology in July to improve air quality within the coworking community.

The technology products purify indoor air by creating an electrical field filled with concentrations of ions to eliminate airborne particulates, odors and pathogens.

Desk chair had already made low tech adjustments in May, including hygiene signage, mask wearing, sneeze guards and controlling pedestrian traffic.

“It is super important the members at desk chair feel as safe as they can possibly be when they are in our building,” desk chair community manager, Jim Doherty, said in a news release.

“The new air quality technology will only help our members’ peace of mind,” he said.

• Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation gave a $50,000 grant to the Family Center/La Familia, which works alongside diverse families to provide high quality child care and supportive services. The funding will support members of the immigrant community to achieve housing stability, obtain information and supply distribution, and will help other entities learn how to better serve this population with equal access to health care services, housing stability, early childhood education, parenting support, transportation, adult education, and workforce training.

She is skilled in providing all aspects of midwifery care to patients from nursing to family planning and birth control and has 17 years of women’s health care experience. Gilmer attended the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky and is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
