Madhya Pradesh Flood LIVE Updates: In last 48 hours, MP received heavy rains. The central & eastern districts including Bhopal, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Guna, Raisen, Sehore, Narmadapuram & Jabalpur have received record rainfall. Due to which, the dams are full and many rivers flowing above the danger mark.

“In Vidisha, the Betwa river and its tributaries are overflowing. Parvati river is also flowing above the danger mark. The water level in River Narmada is decreasing in some places. I am keeping a constant eye on the situation. The administration is alert,” said MP CM SS Chouhan.

In last 24 hours, the MP government has rescued 405 people, while 2300 people shifted to safer locations in rain-affected districts. In Vidisha, 1200 people are staying at various relief shelters, as the rescue operation remains underway.

The people of 10 flood-affected villages from Vidisha & Guna districts will be airlifted using two helicopters. NDRF and SDRF teams are deployed for rescue operations in the rain and flood-affected districts of the state, said Madhya Pradesh CM SS Chouhan.
