A newly married man and his brother died on Monday after a house theatre music system he acquired as a marriage present exploded as quickly because it was plugged in. Four others have been critically injured within the blast.

The house theatre, it seems, was rigged with explosives, and was a present from the ex-boyfriend of the bride, police investigation has revealed. The incident happened in Chhattisgarh’s Kabirdham district.

The cops mentioned that when the groom, recognized as 22-year-old Hemendra Merawi, switched on the house theatre system after connecting its wire to an electrical band, there was an enormous explosion, which led to Mr Merawi’s demise on the spot. During a police investigation, it was discovered that the blast happened as a result of somebody had planted explosives inside the house theatre system. Later, when the cops began investigating the checklist of presents acquired throughout the marriage, they found that the music system was a present from the bride’s ex-lover. 

Police recognized the accused as Sarju and later arrested him. Kabirdham Additional Superintendent of Police Manisha Thakur mentioned that in interrogation, the accused accepted that he was indignant along with his ex-girlfriend for getting married, so he gifted her the house theatre system with explosives planted inside. 

According to police, Hemendra Merawi acquired married on April 1. His brother Rajkumar, 30, and 4 others, together with a one-and-a-half yr boy, suffered accidents they usually have been taken to the district hospital in Kawradha. However, Mr Rajkumar succumbed throughout therapy. The others are present process therapy within the hospital.
