Dhamtari: A person allegedly killed his father with a spade within the Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh for consistently taunting him and his spouse for not having a baby, police stated on Wednesday. The sufferer, recognized as Shivnarayan Satnami (55), suffered grievous accidents after being attacked by his son Khelandas with a spade in Devpur village beneath the Nagri improvement block on Tuesday night, a police official right here stated.

Satnami died as a result of accidents at a non-public hospital in Dhamtari on Wednesday, he stated. As per the preliminary info, Satnami reportedly used to scold his son and daughter-in-law Sangeeta for not having a baby regardless of getting married 11 years in the past, he stated. ‘On Wednesday, he got into an argument with Sangeeta, taunting her for the same, and started abusing her. Sangeeta and different relations together with locals shifted Satnami to Nagri Hospital, from the place he was referred to Dhamtari, he stated. Soon after being alerted about it, a police crew was rushed to the spot, and the accused was arrested, he stated. ‘Prima facie, it seems that Khelandas was fed up with being constantly taunted by his father. In a fit of rage, he allegedly murdered him’, the official stated, including {that a} additional probe into the matter is underway.
