The S&P BSE Sensex wa trading near 36,050 levels and the Nifty50 index hovered around 10,600-mark. IT services major Infosys surged 10 per cent after its June quarter results beat Street estimates with an 11.5 per cent YoY rise in net profit at Rs 4,233 crore. Besides, other IT stocks also gained. HCL Tech, TCS, and Tech Mahindra climbed between 1 to 4 per cent and were the top Sensex gainers.
