EXCLUSIVE: Blue Fox Entertainment has acquired North America rights to the indie drama Mending the Line, starring Golden Globe winner Brian Cox (Succession) and Sinqua Walls (White Men Can’t Jump), slating it for launch in theaters nationwide on June ninth. 

The story follows Colter (Walls), a marine who has simply returned house after being wounded in Afghanistan on his final patrol. His physician (Patricia Heaton) on the VA hospital introduces him to a Vietnam War veteran (Cox) who has been handled on the facility for many years and teaches him to fly fish, hoping it should assist the younger man take care of his bodily and emotional trauma.

Mending the Line opened the 2022 Woodstock Film Festival and later performed the San Diego Film Festival, the place it gained the Valor Award, given to a military-themed movie that conveys the affect of warfare whereas unfolding the emotional layers and the human situation of preventing a warfare. Cox and Walls exec produced alongside Mark Comora and David Comora.

Blue Fox Entertainment beforehand dealt with gross sales for Mending the Line outdoors of the U.S., with XYZ dealing with North America and brokering the sale to Blue Fox.
