Millionaire Amit Singh is the entrepreneur of the famous gym chain called Fusion. In June he took delivery of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600. Now, Amit has taken delivery of a new Porsche 718 GT4. The sports car costs Rs. 1.63 Crores ex-showroom. The GT4 is the more hardcore version of the regular 718 Cayman and sits on top of the 718 line-up.
The GT4 gets a 4.0-litre, flat-six petrol engine that is capable of producing 414 bhp of max power and a peak torque output of 420 Nm. All this power is sent to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox or a PDK automatic transmission. It can hit a ton in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 304 kmph.
Porsche has reduced the weight of the GT4 by stripping off some bits and pieces. So, you get cloth straps instead of door handles to open the door from inside and it gets different seats that will hold the driver in place while taking sharp corners. You can get the seats with electric adjustment or you can upgrade to full bucket seats. It comes with an analogue instrument cluster with a tachometer right in the middle and there is a fake key on the left of the steering wheel which the driver needs to turn to start the engine. This has been inspired by the Porsche racing cars that race in 24 hours of Le Mans.
