Today, the Mississippi Department of Health reports 904 new COVID-19 cases and 58 new deaths.

The statewide total stands at 80,110 confirmed cases and 2,373 deaths with five new deaths in Harrison County and two new deaths in Jackson County and Pearl River County.

Here are the numbers for our area:

• Hancock County now has 466 cases and still 18 deaths
• Harrison County has 3,158 cases and 53 deaths
• Jackson County has 2,879 cases and 59 deaths
• Stone County is at 302 cases and nine deaths
• George County has 673 cases and 12 deaths
• Pearl River County stands at 718 cases and 48 deaths
