50-year-old man drowns in flooded nullah, home wall collapses in Palghar amid rain

A 50-year-old man drowned in a flooded nullah on Friday night in Vasai city of Maharashtra’s Palghar district, whereas a home wall collapsed amid heavy rains in a separate incident right here, officers stated. 

District Disaster Management Cell chief Vivekanand Kadam instructed PTI that the sufferer, Shantaram Vayda, set out of his home to get some eatables. While strolling on the street in heavy showers, he by chance fell into the swollen nullah and received washed away, he stated, including native firemen later fished out his physique.
