Nagarjuna, who turned 63 on Monday (August 29), ended the day by celebrating his birthday at home with family – his wife Amala and son Akhil Akkineni. His son Akhil shared a picture from the celebrations in which the trio is happily posing for the perfect family picture. On the table, we can see two delicious cakes. In the image, Nagarjuna looks dashing in a yellow printed t-shirt, Amala looks pretty in a blue top and Akhil looks dapper in a yellow shirt. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Happy birthday my king ! Love these moments, blessed! Have the best year ahead,” followed by a heart emoticon. 

Nagarjuna’s wife, Amala Akkineni, shared a similar picture on her Instagram handle but with a different caption. She wrote, “A special day ends with a special moment – Happy birthday to my darling husband. Thank you everyone for your good wishes and blessings on our special day.”

On Monday, Nagarjuna shared a video on his Twitter handle, thanking his fans for birthday wishes. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Overwhelmed!!”

Nagarjuna will be soon seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. On Monday, Alia Bhatt wished her co-star Nagarjuna on Twitter. Sharing a picture with the veteran actor Nagarjuna and Ranbir, she wrote, “Happiest birthday Nagarjuna Sir. It has been an honour and a privilege to have worked with you.”
