NEW DELHI: PM Modi arrived in Rome on Friday morning to attend the G20 summit. He will also attend a host of other meetings on the sidelines of the G20 summit and the COP26 summit in Glasgow during his packed 5-day tour.
Soon after his arrival in Rome, PM Modi met with presidents of European Council and European Commission.
He later paid floral tributes at the bust of Mahatma Gandhi in Rome. He also interacted with members of the Indian diaspora, who turned up in large numbers at the event.

Later in the evening PM Modi held bilateral talks with Italian PM Mario Draghi. He was also accorded a guard of honour.

* Participate in discussions on “Climate Change and Environment and Sustainable Development” at G20

Monday, Nov 1
* Travel to Glasgow, UK for COP26 climate conference, titled World Leaders’ Summit
* Meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on the sidelines
Tuesday, Nov 2
* Attend COP26 summit
* Wrap up trip, leave for India
