India and Nepal will maintain the sixteenth version of the joint navy coaching train ‘Surya Kiran’ from December 16 to cement the friendship between the 2 armies.

The fifteenth version of the joint train was held in Pithoragarh through which 650 troopers from either side participated.

Indian Army chief General Manoj Pande visited Nepal in September.
